  • 2 sticks oleo, softened
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream oleo and sugar together until light.

    Add oil a little at a time, beating continuously.

    Add eggs, one at a time as you continue beating.

    Mix salt and flour together, then add alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.

    Add vanilla last.

    Bake in greased tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or 1 hour for 2 loaf pans.

    Cool on rack before turning out of pan.
