  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. flour (2 plain, 1 self-rising)
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring

Directions

    Cream butter well; add sugar and cream with butter.

    Add eggs one at a time; beat in mixture well.

    Add flour and milk and add the flavoring.

    Bake in steeple pan in a 325° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Cool and remove from pan.
