  • 1/2 lb. butter or Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla butternut flavoring
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 3 c. Swans Down cake flour

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, two at a time, until all six are added.

    Add flavorings.

    Add whipping cream and flour, beginning with cream.

    Bake in a tube cake pan for 1 1/2 hours at 350°, or until tested done with cake tester.
