  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 c. plain Adluh flour
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Start with cold oven. (Do not preheat oven.)

    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix thoroughly after each addition.

    Add flour and milk alternately again. Mix well.

    Add extracts. Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool.
