  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating between each.

    Fold in flour after sifting 5 times, alternating with whipping cream.

    Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan. Start in cold oven; set temperature at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

    This is particularly good served with fresh strawberries.
