- 1 scant c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. cake flour
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. each vanilla, lemon and almond extract
Directions

1Have all ingredients at room temperature.

2Cream butter and sugar and then add well beaten egg yolks and mix well.

3Sift flour and then measure and sift again with baking powder.

4Mix vanilla and lemon and almond extracts in the milk and add alternately with dry ingredients.

5Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

6Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake 50 to 55 minutes in 350° oven.
