  • 2 baking apples, pared, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 pears, pared, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1-1/2 cup grapes, halved and seeded
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. orange juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. fresh orange rind, grated

Directions

    Combine apples, pears and grapes.

    Add flour.

    brown sugar, cinnamon and orange juice; mix well.

    Turn into a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish.

    Bake for 30 minutes at 425F.

    Spoon Topping over baked fruit; spread evenly over top.

    Bake 30 minutes longer, or until top is golden brown.

    Topping: Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

    In another bowl, beat together eggs, milk, melted butter and orange rind.

    Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients.
