- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs yolks
- 3 c. flour (plain)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 6 egg whites
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Sift together baking powder, salt and flour.

3Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

4Beat egg whites; fold into batter.

5Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours or until done.
