  • 1 c. butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. flavoring

    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

    Set aside.

    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.

    Add eggs (one at a time).

    Gradually add dry ingredients and milk.

    Beat well.

    Pour into greased and floured pan and bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325° or until done.
