  • 1/2 lb. real butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 3/4 c. cake flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

    Beat butter and sugar until smooth.

    Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, vanilla and baking powder; mix well.

    Stir in nuts and candied fruits.

    Mix well.

    Pour in a greased and floured Bundt pan and bake at 350° for first 30 minutes; finish baking at 300° for one hour.
