  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Cream sugar and Crisco with electric mixer on medium speed. Let eggs reach room temperature.

    Add eggs one at a time, creaming well.

    Add vanilla, milk and flour.

    Blend about 2 minutes at medium speed.

    Pour in tube pan and bake 1 hour at 325° or until golden brown.
