- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 3 c. milk
- 1 (5 oz.) pkg. Jell-O vanilla pudding and pie filling
- 1 envelope Dream Whip whipped topping mix
- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Heat butter and brown sugar with nuts in saucepan until melted. Spread in bottom of pie shell.

2Bake at 450° for 5 minutes; cool. Prepare pie filling mix with milk as directed for pie.

3Cool 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Measure 1 cup.

5Cover with wax paper and chill thoroughly.

6Prepare whipped topping mix as directed; fold in 1 1/3 cups pie filling.

7Spread over filling in pie shell.

8Chill; garnish with remaining whipped topping and additional pecans, if desired.
