- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 c. pecans, toasted at 300~ for 5 to 8 minutes
- 1 to 2 sticks ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Grease a 2 foot long sheet of wax paper.

2Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan.

3Bring mixture to boil; continue cooking over high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches soft ball stage, 238°

4to 240°.

5Remove the pan from heat and continue stirring as the candy cooks.

6When the mixture becomes creamy and cloudy and the pecans remain suspended while stirring, remove the cinnamon sticks.

7Quickly spoon the mixture onto the wax paper before the candy hardens in the pan.
