- 2 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Butter sides of heavy 1-quart saucepan.

2Stir sugar, vanilla and sour cream together in the saucepan.

3Continue to stir until all melts and then cook to soft ball stage (236° on a candy thermometer).

4Add vanilla; beat until mixture thickens.

5Add the pecan halves and stir until all are coated.

6Turn out on greased platter.

7Separate the nuts after they cool.
