Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. yellow squash
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 7 to 8 c. flour
Directions

1Heat squash and milk in saucepan until bubbles form around edges.

2Add oleo and stir.

3Stir in sugar and salt.

4In large bowl, mix 4 cups flour and yeast.

5Stir in squash/milk mixture.

6Add flour to make dough stiff enough to knead dough.

7Knead 5 minutes until elastic.

8Place in greased bowl.

9Let rise until double, about 1 hour.

10Punch down.

11Bake and brush with butter.

12Bake at 375° for 50 minutes for bread or 15 to 20 minutes for rolls.
