Ingredients

  • 5 pounds grnd sirloin, coarsely grnd
  • 1 large white onion, finely minced
  • 5 habenero peppers, deseeded and finely minced
  • 10 jalapeno peppers, deseeded and finely minced
  • 2 tbsp. oregano
  • 1 teaspoon grnd cumin
  • 4 tbsp. tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced 1/4 inch thick and deseeded

Directions

    Mix extra virgin olive oil into sirloin very well.

    Add in all ingredients except bell pepper rings.

    Allow sirloin to set overnight in refrigerator.

    Make sirloin into 1/2 lb.

    patties, press patties between saran wrap to 1/4 inch thick.

    Cook patties on charcoal grill (not a gas grill) till well done.

    Grill bell pepper rings till they brown, or possibly blacken some.

    Serve on toasted kaiser rolls, with bell pepper rings, lettuce, and tomato.

    You can garnish with salsa if desired.
