- 1 doz. peeled carrots
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. chopped basil leaves
Directions

1Slice carrots into 1/8-inch thick rounds.

2Steam, covered, over boiling water for 10 minutes.

3Melt butter in a large saucepan and add maple syrup.

5Add the carrots, basil and salt.

6Stir gently until carrots are well coated with the sauce and basil leaves.
