  • 2 c. finely crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1/3 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 2 c. boiling water

Directions

    Combine pretzels, margarine and 1/3 cup sugar.

    Press onto bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool.

    Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and egg.

    Mix until well blended.

    Fold in whipped topping.

    Spread over crust.

    Chill. Dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water.

    Add strawberries. Chill until partly set.

    Pour over cream cheese layer.
