- 1 c. rice
- 4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 c. milk, heated
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 8 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cook rice and 4 cups milk in double boiler until done.

2Beat egg yolks and add 4 cups heated milk and cornstarch.

3Add this mixture to rice in double boiler.

4Pour in casserole and place in a pan of warm water.

5Bake in a moderate oven (325° to 350°) until a silver knife comes out clean.
