Pretzel Salad

  • 2 2/3 c. coarsely chopped pretzels
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 12 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 large pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 carton large Cool Whip
  • 1 large pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. pineapple juice

    Cream cheese and sugar; set aside.

    Mix pretzels and melted margarine.

    Press in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

    Spread cheese mixture over pretzels and Cool Whip over cheese.

    Chill.

    Dissolve jello in hot pineapple juice; add strawberries.

    Allow to set, then pour over top and refrigerate.
