Pretzel Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 c. crushed pretzels
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 stick oleo, melted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 large box strawberry jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced, sweetened strawberries (frozen)

Directions

    Mix the first 4 ingredients and pat into bottom of a 10 x 12-inch oblong pan.

    Bake 8 to 12 minutes at 350°.

    Cool.

    Beat the next 3 ingredients well and put on top of pretzel mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes.

    Dissolve jello in boiling water and add strawberries.

    Stir until jello begins to thicken.

    Pour over cream cheese mixture.

    Refrigerate 2 hours.

    Delicious and pretty for company.
