- 2 2/3 c. broken pretzels (in very small pieces)
- 1 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 2 c. pineapple juice or water
- 1 large pkg. frozen whole strawberries (no sugar added) or 2 to 3 c. fresh strawberries, sliced if desired
Directions

1Place pretzels and butter in 13-inch pan; bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

2Cool.

3Cream the cream cheese and sugar.

4Spread over top of lukewarm pretzels.

5Spread whipped topping over cheese. Chill.

6Dissolve jello in boiling pineapple juice.

7Stir in strawberries and allow to thicken to jelled point.

8Spread over topping and refrigerate until firm.
