- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 c. flour or bread flour
- 1 tsp. light salt (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Egg Beaters, beaten (1/4 c.)
- nonfat cooking spray
- coarse salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in 1 1/2 cups warm water.

3Add 4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon sugar.

4Mix well.

5On a lightly floured surface, knead the mixture well with your hands.

6Roll pieces of dough into any shape you like.

7Place them on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with a nonfat cooking spray.

8In a small bowl, beat Egg Beaters. Brush the tops of the dough with the Egg Beaters.

9Sprinkle with coarse salt.

10Bake the pretzels at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
