- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg mixed with 1 Tbsp. water
- coarse salt
Directions

1Mix water and yeast in a large bowl.

2Add 1 1/2 cups of flour and 1 tablespoon sugar to yeast mixture.

3Knead flour mixture by working in 1/2 cup flour.

4Divide dough and shape pretzels.

5Brush egg on top of pretzels.

6Sprinkle coarse salt on pretzels.

7Bake at 450° for 20 to 25 minutes.
