- 2 c. persimmon pulp
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/4 c. half and half cream
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream pulp and sugar and add beaten eggs, beating well.

2Put soda into buttermilk and salt until foaming ceases.

3Add to pulp mixture alternately with dry ingredients which have been sifted together.

4When all is blended, add the cream and butter.

5Mix well.

6Pour into greased pan and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
