Prosciutto Caprese

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Heirloom Tomatoes
  • 3 ounces, weight Pre-sliced Prosciutto
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1/4 cups Fresh Basil, Loosely Packed
  • 8 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella Balls
  • 5 dashes Balsalmic Vinegar

Directions

    Chop tomatoes and place in a bowl.

    Slice prosciutto lengthwise. Chop garlic. Saute garlic and prosciutto for about 3-5 minutes or until prosciutto is slightly crispy. Remove from heat and let cool.

    Chop basil and add to tomatoes.

    Drain mozarella balls. Depending on the size of each mozarella ball, slice in half or to your preference. Add to tomatoes and basil.

    Once the prosciutto and garlic are cool, add to tomato, basil and mozzarella. Top with a few splashes of balsalmic vinegar (to taste).

    Mix and serve.
