Ingredients

  • 2 rabbits, cut up
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 leek (3-inches long)
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 large tomato
  • 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 chili pepper, seeded
  • 1/2 c. diced bacon
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme or 2 sprigs fresh

Directions

    Dice all veggies.

    Brown rabbits in large skillet in small amount of oil.

    Remove; add all veggies.

    Cook until tender. Place rabbits on top.

    Add wine; simmer rapidly until done. Serves 8 to 10.
