  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. stewed prunes
  • 1/4 c. prune juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Mix together oil, sugar, eggs and buttermilk.

    Mix dry ingredients together.

    Add to oil mixture.

    Add prunes, juice and nuts.

    Mix well.

    Bake in a large flat pan or two loaf pans.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
