- 1/2 c. softened margarine
- 1 c. chopped prunes
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. flour with 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. prune juice
- 1 c. chopped English walnuts
Directions

1Grease and flour 2 (8 or 9-inch) layer cake pans.

2Heat oven to 375°.

3Cream margarine and sugar.

4Add whole eggs, chopped prunes.

5Add flour with salt and soda alternately with prune juice.

6Add walnuts last.

7Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
