  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 c. cooked prunes, chopped
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Mix together sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla, baking soda and buttermilk, then mix in the rest.

    Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Cool and cover with Prune Cake Icing.
