- 1/2 lb. prunes
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. prune juice
- 3/4 c. molasses
- 2/3 c. grated coconut
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. orange marmalade
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Cook prunes with as little water as possible, using 3 tablespoons molasses to sweeten.

2Make syrup of sugar and prune juice.

3Add molasses, prunes and coconut.

4Cook 10 minutes. Remove from fire and add egg yolks and other ingredients and fill pie shell.

5Bake at moderate oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

6Add meringue.

7Brown for a few minutes in oven.
