- 1 lb. prunes
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Wash prunes; cover with water and cook slowly until tender. Drain, pit and chop.

2Add sugar to prune juice.

3Add prunes and lemon juice.

4Boil to soft ball stage (234° to 238°).

5Cool to room temperature.

6Beat until creamy.

7Add nuts.
-
8Pour into well buttered, shallow pan.

9Cut in squares.
