- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put first 4 ingredients into deep saucepan.

2Cook over low heat.

3Stir until sugar is dissolved.

4Cook, without stirring, to the hard ball stage or to 268° by candy thermometer.

5Remove from heat.

6Add vanilla.

7Pour into a shallow buttered pan to cool.
