- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. Spry
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. flour
- 1 beaten egg
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
- cinnamon and sugar
- nutmeats (if desired)
Directions

1Pour the water over the Spry and let cool.

2Combine the yeast, sugar, salt and flour. Add the egg to water mixture.

3Add flour mixture.

4Chill overnight.

5Two to 3 hours before using, break off small pieces of dough. Dip into the melted butter, cinnamon and sugar and nutmeats (if desired).

6Let rise at room temperature until double in bulk.

7Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.

8Makes 2 tea rings (jello molds).
