- 2/3 c. margarine, softened
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
- 2/3 c. water
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 3 1/3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar.

2Add eggs, pumpkin and water, blending well.

3Sift dry ingredients together, then sift into pumpkin mixture, stirring to blend.

4Add nuts.

5Pour into 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) greased loaf pans.

6Bake in a 350° oven for 55 to 60 minutes.

7Let cool in pans slightly; remove from pans and cool loaves on wire racks.
