- 1 c. liquid shortening
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 mushy pumpkin (small can)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Mix shortening, eggs, pumpkin and vanilla with fork or spoon. Sift together flour, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon.

2Add sugar.

3Mix with the liquid.

4Add nuts.

5Cook in tube pan 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°.
