Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

- 2 3/4 to 3 1/4 c. flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. pumpkin
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Combine 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast; set aside.

2In a small pan, heat and stir pumpkin, milk, sugar, 2 tablespoons butter and salt until warm (120° to 130°).

3Add to flour-yeast, along with egg.

4Beat on low for 30 seconds.

5Beat on high for 3 minutes. Stir in enough flour to make moderately stiff dough.

6Knead about 6 to 8 minutes.

7Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.

8Cover; let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

9Roll into a 12 x 10-inch rectangle.
