Pumpkin-Date Nut Bread

Ingredients
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. oil
- 5 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. chopped dates
- 2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease four 1 pound loaf pans.

3Combine sugar, pumpkin and eggs in a large mixing bowl.

4Beat by hand until well blended.

5Add oil and beat well.

6Stir in dry ingredients. Mix well.

7Leave a little flour to roll nuts and dates.

8Mix in dates and nuts.
-
9Fill prepared pans 3/4 full.

10Bake 1 hour or until done when tested with toothpick.

11When cooled, serve with cream cheese.

12This bread does freeze well.
