Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. pumpkin
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Cream butter, sugars, eggs and pumpkin.

    Combine dry ingredients in bowl.

    Add to creamed mixture.

    Blend well.

    Spoon into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.

    Cool for 10 minutes.

    Remove from pans.

    Cool on wire racks.
