  • 1 large can pumpkin
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. milk (if mixture is dry, use 4 c.)
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. mace
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

    Bake in unbaked pie shell at 400° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 50 minutes.

    This makes 7 cups of filling, so it will yield 3 small pies or 2 large ones.

    Can also bake as a pudding!
