  • 9-inch crust
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar and flour; add eggs (1 at a time) and beat well after each addition.

    Stir in all remaining ingredients. Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 375° and continue baking an additional 45 minutes or until it tests done.
