- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin peered
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1In a mixing bowl blend sugar and oil.

2Add eggs, one at a time and beat well.

3Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves.

4Add to egg mixture alternately with pumpkin. Pour into a greased 12 cup fluted tube pan.

5Bake at 350° for 60 to 65 minutes.

6Cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a cure rack.

7Cool completely and dust with sugar.
