- 5 cups self-rising flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter, diced, plus extra to serve
- 1 x 15 oz can pumpkin
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 None large eggs, lightly beaten
- None None Milk, to glaze
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease and flour a baking sheet. Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Rub in butter with fingertips, until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add pumpkin, sugar and eggs. Mix with a knife to form a soft dough. Knead lightly on a floured surface.

2Pat out to a 6 x 8 inch rectangle. Place on prepared baking sheet and cut dough to form 12 squares. Brush with milk. Bake for 20 mins, until risen and golden. Remove from oven and wrap in a tea towel for a few mins. Serve with butter.
