Pumpkin Upside-Down Cake

- 1 (20 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (with pudding)
- 1 c. nuts (walnuts), chopped
- 1 1/2 c. butter
Directions

1Mix first 7 ingredients together.

2Place mixture into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Sprinkle yellow cake mix over pumpkin mixture, then sprinkle with nuts.

4Drizzle 1 1/2 cups butter on top.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

6Serves 12 or more.

7May top with whipped topping or cream.
