1/2 c. pecans, chopped

In punch bowl or attractive deep dish, crumble 1/2 of the cake. Mix gel with strawberries. Pour over cake. Add remaining cake, then pudding, pineapple, coconut and pecans. Spread Cool Whip over top and add reserved strawberries. Serve with large spoon.
