Pyracantha Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1 pt. berries
  • 3 pt. water
  • juice of 1 small grapefruit
  • juice of 1 small lemon
  • 1 pkg. powdered pectin (essential, will not jell)
  • 5 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Boil berries and water in kettle 20 minutes.

    Add juices and drain mixture through jelly bag.
  3. 3
    Do not squeeze.
  4. 4
    This should be sufficient to make 4 to 4 1/2 cups juice.

    Add powdered pectin according to directions on package and then add sugar.
