  • 2 quail (per person)
  • fresh raw oysters
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • bacon

Directions

    Wash and pat dry quail (whole).

    Stuff each one with raw oysters.

    Season with Worcestershire sauce.

    Place in a greased roaster.

    Cover each quail with half strip of bacon, covering all exposed areas.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or golden brown and thigh juice runs clear with knife.

    Serve with milk gravy and grits.
