1Wash and pat dry quail (whole).

2Stuff each one with raw oysters.

4Place in a greased roaster.

5Cover each quail with half strip of bacon, covering all exposed areas.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or golden brown and thigh juice runs clear with knife.

7Serve with milk gravy and grits.
