  • 4 (1 lb.) cans butter beans, drained
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp.

    Remove from skillet and crumble. Saute the onion in the bacon fat.

    Combine everything together in bean pot.

    Bake at 300° for 3 hours or 375° for 1 1/2 hours. Good warm or cold.
