- 3 lbs ground lean pork
- 12 teaspoon savory
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon peppercorn (wrapped in cheesecloth)
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves (wrapped in cheese cloth)
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 3 12 cups water
- 1 cup onion (diced)
- 1 cup potato (small cubed)
- 4 uncooked pie crusts
Directions

1In a large heavy saucepan, combine pork, onion and potatoes.

3Cook uncovered on stovetop for 20 minutes.

4Remove spices in cheescloth.

5Divide mixture between 2 pie shells.

6Fill pie shells and use 2 pie shells as covers.

7Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
