Ingredients
- 2 ounces rum (either White or Demerara)
- 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 6 mint leaves
- 4 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
- 4 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions

1In a shaking tin, combine rum, lime, simple syrup and mint and muddle gently.

2Dump contents into a Collins or hurricane glass and fill the remainder of the glass with crushed ice.

3Swizzle from the bottle gently and as you lift the stick out, leave it standing in the ice at the top.

4Add several dashes of both Peychaud's and Angostura bitters on top, then lightly swizzle the top of the drink, as you remove the stick.

5Top again with ice, garnish with a mint spring and insert a straw.
